CHA Find...DIY Bracelets
While searching the CHA winter show we found DIY Bracelets everywhere! They were painted, decoupaged, papered, wrapped , stained, crocheted, knitted, antiqued, stamped, buttoned and blinged. The ideas were endless. Plan a DIY bracelets night and invite all your friends to bring embellishments and every one CREATE!. What a fun night that would be.

On the hunt at CHA winter
While on our hunt we became lost in the jungle of Lion Brand Yarn.
Emma and Renee' were found by the Giraffe and Lion that were knitted with the different kinds of Lion Yarn. While in the Jungle we were able to see Vanna White and watch a great Fashion show of outfits that were crocheted, knitted and felted. We saw many hats, afghans, leg warmers, wrist warmers, cowls, scarfs, vests, coats and dresses. You can find over 3,000 patterns in their web site.
Coming soon is a new line of Baby wool yarns in the hottest new colors. We also picked up the new colors in Hometown, Amazing, Fisherman wool and many others.

CHA finds!!
We will update you this week with some of our great finds!
Just for the fun of it~Here is a Bird of Paradise in full bloom. Since they don't grow in Pocatello, we thought it would be fun to share a picture of one.
Todays featured Vendor from CHA is Creative Imaginations. And WOW we found some really fun things that will be coming to our store SOON!
12 x 12 sheets of REAL WOOD that can be die-cut, embossed painted, stamped and so much more.
CUTABLES are great papers including colored corrugated, and simulated brushed metal
We ordered some fun new collections like "monkey business", New John Deere, School Papers like: Theater, cheerleading , marching band plus a new cowboy/ cowgirl line.
The LUMINARTE brand of watercolor paints was fantastic. These are the most gorgeous, sparkly, and vibrant paints you have ever seen. We watched them stamp with the same stamp not once, not twice, but 15 times with just a mist of water!

***We have been moving things around. Beading Department
The beading department is EXPANDING! We ahve decided to make a few changes to make the beading area bigger and make it easier to shop. Chicken and Tortilla Soup
Prepare tortillas by quick dipping in warm oil and draining in paper towel.
Fill each tortilla will chicken, a sprinkl eof onions and chesse. Roll and place in oven proof pan.
To prepare sauce, combine the broth, sourcream, flour and chilis and bring to a boil. Pour over rolled tortillas. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
You can make awesome tortilla soup from the liquid used to cook the chicken by adding left over shredded chicken, baked tortilla strips and diced avocado.

Fanciful Fudge
Cookie cutters
Cookie Sheet
Ingredients:
14 oz Dark Cocoa Candy melts
Confetti/Sprinkles
1 can (14 oz) Sweetened condensed milk (NOT EVAPORATED MILK!)
Place cookie cutters on baking sheet. Refrigerate until ready to fill. In a microwavable bowl, melt candy melts according to the package instructions. Add condensed milk. Stir until well blended. Microwave an additional 1 to 2 minutes on medium. Stir until fudge develops a sheen. Pour candy mixture into cutters to about 1/4 from the top. Sprinkle the sprinkles over candy in cutters. Press down slightly.. Refrigerate until firm ( apx 25 mins) Enjoy!

Cinnamon Popovers
1 c all purpose flour
1/4 t salt
1 t ground cinnamon
1 c milk
3 T butter or margarine, Melted
In blender combine eggs, milk, flour, butter cinnamon and salt. Cover and blend for 30 seconds or until combined. Fill 6 to 8 well greased custard cups, half full. Bake in oven at 400 for 40 minutes. Remove the custard cups. Serve hot.
