Cream Cheese Pound Cake

1 1/2 C Chopped Pecans, Divided

1 1/2 c Butter softened

1 8 oz cream cheese- Softened

3 c sugar

dash of salt

1 1/2 tsp vanilla

6 eggs

3 C flour

Sprinkle 1/2 cup pecans in a greased & floured 10" pan. Set aside

Cream butter and cream cheese; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs. one at a time. Add flour and salt, stirring until combined. Stir in vanilla and remaining 1 cup pecans. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 325 for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean. cool in pan for 10 mins, remove from pan and cool completely on a rack. ENJOY

Gingerbread Cookies

Ingredients:

1/2 c butter

1/2 c sugar

1 egg

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp cloves

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 c dark molasses

2 1/2 c Sifted flour

1 tsp ginger

1 tbsp Cinnamon

Instructions:

Cream butter and sugar well.

Blend in Molasses

Add egg and Beat well

Stir in sifter dry ingredients.

Chill dough for at least 3 hours! Roll dough out and cut into shapes. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10-12 mins
