1970's lemon bars

We celebrated the 1970's in our Quilt Group today. Jan made Lemon Bars from a 1970's recipe.
They were yummy!!! Enjoy her recipe....

Jans Lemon Bars
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp lemon juice

Heat oven to 350 degrees
Blend flour, butter, and confectioners sugar thoroughly
Press evenly in 8" square pan
Bake 20 minutes
Beat rest of ingredients together
Pour over crust and bake 20-25 min.
Do not over bake
